Watch ME Grow is an online Developmental Education website for parents with a young child in their first year.
The goal of this website is to provide parents with knowledge of developmental expectations, strategies to support infant's development, guidance on addressing concerns, and access to resources for healthy parenting as their child grows!
There are 6 developmental modules which include milestones and activities to help parents understand their child including:
Interacting with others and expressing feelings
Using their senses to learn and explore
Small hand movements (grasping, picking up objects)
Big body movements (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking)
Galinsky (2010) says that "children are born learning, and that in the early years, caregivers are laying the foundation for lifelong learning — and that the life skill of Making Connections is at the very heart of learning."
